Metaphorically speaking, the UFOverdriver flies at 72,000 feet, through the stratosphere of Mid-Heaven.
By applying ancient techniques of sound modulation and frequency control to mysterious substances known to physicists as “Dark Matter” (“Dark” meaning they don’t know what it is) and propelled by Solar rays and an equally mysterious force called “Dark Energy”, or as I like to called it – “Vimana Fuel”…
Simply put – the UFOverdriver flies like a Vimana.
What is a Vimana?
The Ancient Greeks had the ability to make flying crafts, which they created for the gods and avatars of India thousands of years ago.
One example in the Mahabharata is that the AsuraMaya had a Vimana measuring twelve cubits in circumference, with four strong wheels. Apart from ‘blazing missiles‘, the poem records the use of other deadly weapons. ‘Indra‘s Dart’ (Indravajrā) operated via a circular ‘reflector’. When switched on, it produced a ‘shaft of light’ which, when focused on any target, immediately ‘consumed it with its power’.
In one exchange, the hero, Lord Krishna, is pursuing his enemy, Salva, in the sky, when Salva’s Vimana, the Saubha, is made invisible in some way. Undeterred, Lord Krishna immediately fires off a special weapon: “I quickly laid on an arrow, which killed by seeking out sound“.
The Mahabharata compliments “the all-knowing Yavanas” (sarvajnaa yavanaa, the Greeks), as the creators of the vimanas[4]: The Yavanas, O king, are all-knowing; the Suras are particularly so (sarvajnā yavanā rajan shurāz caiva vishesatah)
If you have a Bible background, you might remember the story of Ezekiel and the four-faced beasts traveling by machines that were like “a wheel within a wheel, with eyes all around.” (Ezekiel Chapter 10) In India around the same time these machines were called Vimana.

Here’s Automatic Pete (our on-board computer) to explain a little more about the Vimana – Enjoy!

Watching With Your Eyes Closed
I just finished a new video for the sound collage The Dream Leaver last night (June 16 going on 17), which is track number six off of the new UFOverdriver album -A New American Prayer…
The video is deliberately abstract in style to allow your imagination the freedom to remain active while listen/watching this piece.
Sound collages are, by nature, a “theater of the mind” experience, and making videos can interfere with that process in the long run… but we are a video oriented culture right now, and I’ll use all my tools to get the UFOverdriver messages out to the world…
With that in mind – feel free to close your eyes and just listen instead of watching the video if you like…
About The Dream Leaver
Some of the source material for this sound collage include the songs Dream Weaver by Gary Wright and God by John Lennon, which have been sampled and looped to create an interplay between the lyrics of the two songs while throwing in some extra sound clips to shape the collage.
Why download? So you can burn your own CD, or remix it and add it to your special mix CDs you make for your friend, or put it on your iPod and listen to it while your go out running or exercising… and stuff like that.
After numerous late night flights at 72,000 feet of the UFOverdriver for the purpose of taking audiographic measurement of the subconscious weather over North America during the spring months of 2010, one human recordings is proud to present the composite audiograph (or sound collage) to document the flux density of this passage of time.
