About The UFOverdriver
Welcome aboard the UFOverdriver
UFOverdriver – That’s pronounced “You-Eff-Overdriver”… and the U and the F are initials that stand for lots of different things… but that’s something we’ll discuss sometime later down the road .
This Is Not A Band
The UFOverdriver is my sound collage project site that has taken on a life of it’s own, and turned into an imaginary vehicle – a sky ship – for audio journeys into the subconscious realms of memory, imagination and ideas.
Along the way I’ve become the Captain of this sky ship, very much in the likeness of a Captain Nemo and his famous submarine The Nautilus… except my ship flies at an altitude of 72,000 feet.
Since I launched this project in January 2010 I’ve recorded 4 albums of sound collages:
- Calling Down The UFOverdriver – January 2010
- The Brothership Has Landed – March 2010
- How Long? Not Long! The 4.20.10 Mix – April 2010
- A New American Prayer – June 2010
All of these albums are available for free, as CD quality MP3 files, for your personal listening pleasure… and you don’t even have to sign up, give me your email or anything – I mean free, really free.

This is the new logo for the UFOverdriver (June 2010) – a symbolic image that refers to the mission of this project/ship…
Below: “All our ships will be flying at 72,000 feet tonight…”
Taken from a stream-of-conscious recording while making the How Long? Not Long! Mix, this quote has become my shorthand phrase meaning “I’ll be staying up really, really late tonight – following my strange and often changing flight plans into the sub-conscious, Jungian world that contains the primordial soup of creation – hopefully, if I make it back, I’ll have something useful for my mixes…”
In the drawing below you can see the UFOverdriver ship flying at 72,000 feet (that’s in the lower Stratosphere) – receiving incoming messages from my galactic sources, and then re-broadcasting the re-mixed frequencies, signals and transmissions to our planet below while simultaneously making audiographic records of current and future events…
